Memorial Cancer Centre
The
trust has been able to champion the cause cancer thanks to the
generosity of people from all over India. Over the last 14 years
we have built up a good reputation and our services have been
well lauded. We have also gained sufficient experience and are
now confident to provide comprehensive cancer care.
We
plan to begin a centre in Chennai at Ashok Nagar. The building
we have located is a ground plus one building on 1082 sq ft
area and provides a built up area of 1800 sq.ft. At this place
we plan to start a Clinic cum chemotherapy centre. In fact it
will be a day care centre. The ground floor will have couple
of consulting rooms, a 4 bedded ward and a minor operation theatre.
Upstairs will house 2 consulting rooms (one will be exclusively
for counseling), a clinical Laboratory, a mini conference hall
with capacity to hold 25 people and administrative offices.
From
this centre we envisage to provide quality care to the cancer
affected at FREE or discounted rates. It will
hold screening camps, again free, periodically. It will provide
counseling to patients and their relatives. In addition it will
be a learning centre for people. Workshops will be held to train
people who in turn will enlighten the masses about cancer.
The
cost of this project is around One Crore twenty lakh rupees.
This will be utilized to purchase the property ,renovate it
and purchase necessary equipment to run the Facility.
With
charity in heart and sweat in our arms we have come so far providing
hope, health and happiness to cancer affected. We need to take
this further and make cancer care available to all especially
