To fuel all the activities one definitely funds. These funds have been coming as small contributions from a large number of persons. This measure not only mobilizes money but more importantly increased awareness in a larger group. It started with a meager capital of Rs. 2500/ and thanks to the generous contributions of many it is able perform better. Expenditure is prioritized to patient care.

Capital has been raised from spontaneous individual donations, contributions from service organizations for projects, sale of gift items like sarees & T. shirts & special fund raising Drives.

Bharat Ratna Smt. M.S.Subbulakshmi, expressing her inability to be physically present, permitted the Trust to play her recordings on 2 occasions. The Trust thanks her for the same :

Heart for Cancer Carnatic Nite

This has been the major fund raising event since 1998. The first performance was by Mrs. Sudha Ragunathan, who also gathered One lakh rupees for the trust.

In the subsequent years Mr. P. Unnikrishnan & Mrs. Nithyashree Mahadevan have rendered their honorary service. The Trust honours with them with a title, Udhavum Oli - a voice for help, in appreciation of their benevolence.

Jumble Sale

First's Junk, Second's use & third's life was vividly illustrated in the Jumble sale conducted in September this year.

JUMBLE SALE

The proceeds took care of the entire treatment of 2 children with Hodgkin's disease.

Jayaraman Leukemia Fund

Mr. N. Jayaraman, Founder trustee & guiding spirit of the trust, dedicated an amount of rupees One lakh for an endowment towards care of leukemics.

The first beneficiary, Baby. Suganthi was presented cheque of Rs. 10,000/- by the collector of Coimbatore on 4.12.00. Since then 3 more patients receive assistance from this fund.

Aishwarya Memorial Fund

This is a special endowment in memory of Baby. Aishwarya, a victim of this malady. The funds are utilized exclusively towards care of children with cancer & four of them have already benefited.

In association with Keepfit health Centre, a body building competition was held.

This fund raising event was to associate health & well being with cancer.
