Donors Pride

It is always man’s quest to reach above the rest. Most often it is in financial status or the ability to control & influence people. I have so many crores, I own so many acres of land or I have so many followers, thousands will jump into the sea if I want them to. ... Mogambo khush hua !

But what he does not realize is much more valuable than any of these is LIFE — his or the one he is able to save. The Trust is indeed happy that many people from varied socio economic sections have realized this invaluable element called life & helped it save many lives. The Trust Salutes all these Donors!

When we see this displayed it has really touched our hearts. In the cassette Stall in Madurai an old gentleman was deeply moved by our work. He wanted to donate. All he had was a hundred rupee note in his purse. This he had preserved for more than 15 years for sentiments sake. He gave off that to purchase our albums & declined to accept it free. That hundred rupee note meant a million to him, yet he gave it, the cause was more dear.

In another instance early in the history of the Trust, a lady donor just knocked on the door one afternoon. She opened up her purse & placed 20,000 rupees ! When we said that we have just started & she does not even know us well. She said “ you will do well, that is why I want to help”. She helps till date & the Trust has not let her down.

Like these instances have been plenty & donors more plenty. It is not that you have to have plenty to give plenty .To give some from some is greater. More than the amount it is the desire to help which makes the
donation invaluable & the act commendable.
